We understand that migrating your websites between hosting providers can be a daunting task, especially when dealing with complex platforms like cPanel. That is why at StableHost, we are committed to making this transition as smooth and hassle-free as possible. However, the intricacies of cPanel migrations pose unique challenges, and we want to provide you with a clear understanding of our process and policies to ensure a seamless experience.
cPanel, as robust and feature-rich as it is, hasn't yet perfected an automated solution for resellers to migrate their accounts effortlessly. Unlike some other platforms, there isn't a straightforward, one-click method for transferring accounts from one host to another. Currently, the primary method involves manually creating full backups of each cPanel account, copying them to the new server, and restoring them individually. This manual process is time-consuming and complex, making it difficult for resellers to migrate their clients efficiently.
Due to these challenges, we've developed a policy that aims to strike a balance between your needs and the technical complexities involved. If you have root access to your previous server, we can facilitate the migration of your accounts to StableHost at no additional cost. However, if root access isn't available, we offer a complimentary service where we'll migrate up to 10 cPanel accounts from your previous reseller account.
We understand that some businesses have more extensive hosting requirements, and migrating more than 10 cPanel accounts might be necessary. For each additional migration beyond the initial 10, we charge a nominal fee of $7.95. This fee ensures that our expert technicians can dedicate the necessary time and resources to ensure a secure and successful migration.
Additionally, if you prefer to handle the migration process yourself, we offer a free restoration service. All you need to do is create a full backup for us and upload it to your existing StableHost account. Our dedicated team will assist you in restoring your cPanel accounts, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
